This scenic circular route begins and ends at the Belvedere Arms in Sunninghill, covering a lovely 6-mile (approx 2.5-hour) circular route through stunning landscapes and historical landmarks, finishing with a rewarding meal at the pub.
The walk takes you over the 5 Arch bridge and through various landscapes including the beautiful Valley Gardens where you can enjoy valley views along with a hint of colour change as the seasons change and we head toward autumn, before reaching Obelisk Pond and then circling back.
The route continues with a quick stop at the Wheatsheaf before following the tranquil path around Virginia Water Lake, the cascading waterfall, exotic ruins of Leptis Magna, and shimmering reflections in the water.
The route concludes at The Belvedere Arms, a chic country pub offering a fire place and a British menu, perfect for relaxing after your walk, this pub is the ideal way to complete a day filled with nature, history, and great company.
