Cookham Moor, the Thames and Cock Marsh
Join us for a lovely four-mile circular walk through the beautiful countryside surrounding Cookham.
We’ll meet at the National Trust car park on Cookham Moor and make our way towards the River Thames. From there, our route follows the river before taking us across Cock Marsh, with its wide-open landscape, before heading up winter hill with lovely views over the Thames and Bourne End Marina.
This is a relaxed, scenic walk of approximately four miles (6.5km), with plenty to enjoy along the way. The riverside paths and open views make this a particularly attractive route and a wonderful way to spend a Sunday.
After completing the circular walk, we’ll head back into Cookham and finish at The Crown, where anyone who would like to stay can enjoy a much-needed drink or settle in for a Sunday roast.
