📍 Cliveden Estate, Berkshire
🥾 Approx. 3 miles | Dog friendly
Join us for a beautiful countryside walk through the spectacular grounds of Cliveden House, one of the most famous historic estates in the country.
Now owned by the National Trust, Cliveden has a fascinating past. The magnificent house has hosted royalty, politicians and high society for over 300 years, and today the estate is renowned for its stunning gardens, woodland trails and incredible views over the River Thames.
We’ll be following the Gold Walking Trail, a scenic 3-mile route that takes us off the beaten track through some of the estate’s most beautiful areas. Expect woodland paths, sweeping countryside, and views across of the river Thames as we explore the grounds together. There are a few fairly steep hills along the route, but nothing too strenuous – just enough to feel like you’ve earned your coffee stop.
Along the way we’ll pause for coffee and a catch-up, and for anyone who would like to continue the social afterwards, there will be plans for a relaxed Sunday lunch nearby.
This is a Dog friendly – well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the walk.
Please note:
Cliveden is a National Trust property, so entry to the estate or parking charges may apply.
