This May Bank Holiday Sunday, we’re turning up the charm (and the competition) with a wine tasting experience that’s as fun as it is delicious. Our friends at Grape Expectations are hosting an intimate table tasting for 12, promising a relaxed, sociable afternoon where two of the world’s greatest wine nations go head-to-head… and you decide the winner.

Over a couple of easy-going hours, you’ll taste six carefully selected wines — 2 sparkling, 2 white, 2 red — one French, one Italian. You’ll sip, chat, compare notes, and then make your guesses: French or Italian, the grape/name and price point. Score each wine out of 5, and by the end of the night we’ll crown your favourite bottle and 🇫🇷🇮🇹 The ultimate winning country!

It’s light-hearted, interactive, and just competitive enough to get everyone involved — whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just in it for a bank holiday Sunday. We’ll pause halfway through for optional cheese & charcuterie boards (highly recommended), giving you time to mingle, chat, and soak it all in.
