Looking for a Sunday plan that ticks all the boxes? Fresh air, great views, good company — and a well-earned pub at the end. Join us for a Sociable Sunday Walk through the beautiful Hambleden Valley, starting and finishing in the charming flint and red-brick village of Hambleden.
This 5.5-mile circular route will take you through scenic beech woodland, rolling countryside, and the pretty hamlet of Pheasants Hill — with plenty of stunning valley views along the way. It’s the perfect mix of a proper walk and a relaxed social. This is a self-led walk, so you can go at your own pace in small groups. We’ll provide all attendees with the map and directions, and connect everyone in a WhatsApp group the day before so you can easily team up and head off together.
There are a few fairly steep slopes, so expect a bit of a workout — but nothing that doesn’t feel worth it once you’re out in the countryside.
Dogs are very welcome 🐾
And of course, no Sunday walk is complete without a pub…
We’ll regroup afterwards at the The Stag and Huntsman for a well-deserved drink, lunch, or both.
Book your spot, lace up your trainers, and join us for a feel-good Sunday with the group.
