This walk starts at Cowleaze woods which is west High Wycombe between Stokenchurch and Christmas Common. Set in the Chiltern Hills, these woods have incredible views over the surrounding countryside. A walk around this rich woodland reveals a great mix of habitants – this area is now renowned for the huge number of red kites showing off their flying skills. There are also buzzards, woodpeckers, thrushes, finches, hawks and many other types of birds to be seen.
So join us for this delightful walk filled with good company, friendly chat and the chance to explore new landscape. This is an undulating walk with a couple of short steep hills, we will pass through some beautiful countryside including through Aston Rowant nature reserve and before looping back to Cowleaze Wood. It’s the perfect way to connect, unwind and enjoy the beauty around us!
