The Oxford–Cambridge Boat Race – Riverside Social
Join us for one of Britain’s most iconic sporting traditions as we head into London to watch The Boat Race — the legendary rowing showdown between University of Oxford and University of Cambridge. The race takes place on the River Thames, and we’ll be heading to Hammersmith, one of the best spots along the river to soak up the atmosphere.

Our plan is simple:
Head into southwest London together, meet at a great riverside pub or viewing spot, and enjoy the excitement (maybe with a few drinks) as the crews power past with hundreds of spectators lining the banks.

Race times:
🚣‍♀️ Women’s race – 2:20pm
🚣 Men’s race – 3:20pm

Expect a fun, social afternoon with plenty of great pubs along the river, a buzzing crowd and the drama of one of the oldest sporting rivalries in the world.

We’ll create a group chat beforehand to coordinate travel (train, car share or taxis), timings and meeting points so everyone can head in together.
