The Date in the Diary Annual Summer BBQ is Back! 🍔🥂

After the fantastic success of last year’s Summer BBQ at The Jolly Farmer in Cookham, we’re doing it all again… because when something works this well, why change it?

Join us from 3pm for one of our favourite events of the summer. You’ll be welcomed with a refreshing glass of Pimms (or soft drink, available for those who arrive before 4pm)  before we fire up the BBQ and serve a delicious buffet BBQ, giving everyone plenty of time to relax, mingle, make new friends and catch up with familiar faces.

Adding to the summer atmosphere, we’re delighted to welcome back Auriol – a former Date in the Diary member – accompanied by her guitarist James. They’ll provide the perfect soundtrack while we eat and chat, before turning up the tempo later in the evening with plenty of feel-good favourites to get everyone singing along, up on their feet and enjoying a proper summer party.

And because this is England, we’ve got the weather covered too! If the sun keeps shining, we’ll be making the most of the beautiful outdoor setting. If not, the venue’s stretch tent means the fun carries on whatever the forecast.

Great food, live music, a relaxed summer vibe and wonderful company… what better way to spend a summer afternoon and evening?
