We can’t believe summer is nearly over! The official lastt day of summer 2025 is Monday 22nd September so we thought, as sad it is, why not celebrate that! It’s been a summer season filled with festivals, polo, paddleboarding, paddle tennis, new friendships, plenty of dating but a bucket load of fun – and now it’s time to celebrate in style with our End of Summer Barbecue at a lovely country pub in the heart of Cookham Dean (between Marlow and Maidenhead). We have a reserved an outdoor area of their fab garden  just for our members – and don’t worry as if the weather isn’t on our side there is a marquee cover.

Join us on Sunday 21st September from 2pm for a welcome drink, delicious barbecue, and live music from our very own member Auriol and her guitarist, who will keep the summer vibes flowing all afternoon. Whether you pop in or stay for the day, it’s the perfect chance to catch up with your fellow Date in the Diary members after the summer break, meet some new faces, and we can soak up the last of the sunshine together.

Please note this is an event organised and hosted by Date in the Diary and exclusively for you members – this means we have to meet minimum numbers in order for it to go ahead and we need those numbers soon so please book well in advance so we can ensure this fab event goes ahead.
