Time to bring out your best formal summer day attire as Date in the Diary will be at Henley Royal Regatta again this year in July. Despite a day of torrential rain last year, we had a blast so we are doing the same this year spending a (hopefully) sunny Friday afternoon in luxury with The Hidden Garden in their fabulous pop up bar on the banks of the river providing a perfect opportunity for you, and other Date in the Diary members to experience the atmosphere of the most prestigious event in the British rowing calendar.

We plan to buy entrance tickets and book an area with a lunchtime start (but come whenever) at the Hidden Garden where they offer incredible hospitality, live entertainment and some great drinks options from their well stocked bar. We will spend the afternoon here, chatting, people watching, taking in the rowing. This is a truly engaging way to enjoy this event in one of the best places. Tickets do mean, you can come and go, so there are no constraints to stay in the Hidden Garden Bar…. so go for a little wonder, treat yourself to food from one of the street food vans and watch the racing right from the river side.
