Henley Royal Regatta – A Day by the River & Two Fantastic Evening Options! 🥂🚣🎶
Time to bring out your best summer attire as Date in the Diary heads back to Henley Royal Regatta on Friday 3rd July.
Last year was a huge success, with members enjoying the rowing, riverside atmosphere, great company and fantastic live music. This year we’re doing it all again – but with two different evening entertainment options, so you can choose the music that suits your style.
The group will meet from 1pm at the legendary Barn Bar at Remenham Farm, where everyone is welcome to join us for drinks and to soak up the incredible regatta atmosphere. You do not need a ticket to come into this enclosure until 6pm. Arrive early and make a day of it, or join us whenever you can.
Spend the afternoon enjoying delicious street food, drinks from the outdoor bars, and all the excitement of Henley Royal Regatta. The Barn Bar overlooks the river close to the start line, making it a fantastic base, but you’re also free to wander along the riverbank, get closer to the rowing action and explore the many bars and pop-up venues before the evening begins.
Choose Your Evening
From 6.00pm, you’ll have two fantastic options depending on your musical taste.
Option 1 – Stay at The Barn Bar
If you love 80/90’s singalong classic’s, then this is the perfect choice.
The evening features live performances from The George Michael Singers – George’s original backing vocalists who toured and performed with him for over three decades – alongside ABBA Re-Björn, performing all the iconic ABBA hits. DJs will keep the party going throughout the evening with feel-good classics and plenty of dancefloor favourites under the Barn Bar’s famous giant party marquee.
Please note: If you have purchased a ticket to this event through DITD, your entrance ticket will be send to you prior to the event. Once you enter the Barn Bar for the evening entertainment from 6.00pm, you won’t be able to leave and re-enter.
Option 2 – Funky Dory Love Ibiza White Party
Prefer house music and Ibiza vibes? Simply take a short stroll along the river to the Funky Dory Love’s Ibiza White Party and the great news is DITD members have 30% discount on tickets using the code DITDFD30 at checkout.
Expect a stylish riverside party with legendary DJs including Brandon Block, Balearic beats, soulful house and feel-good classics in one of Henley’s most glamorous evening events.
