This beautiful walk is through Old Amersham and the Misbourne Valley starts.
The walk leaves Old Amersham and heads gently up towards the woods at Mop End, the walk then gently drops down to the lovely Misbourne Valley via the historic village of Little Missenden, where we follow the River Misbourne past Shardeloes and back to Old Amersham.

The walk is relatively flat with only a gentle climb as we leave Old Amersham. So nice and gentle of a hopeful sunny early summer morning hike with your Date in the Diary members and new single friends.

For anyone wishing for refreshments at the end of the walk there is ample opportunity to visit a Chiltern pub.
