Let’s get festive this weekend with a ramble, a wander around a Christmas Fayre and a Pub Christmas roast!

Step into the festive spirit with a sociable Sunday walk through the beautiful Cookham countryside. We’ll take on a relaxed 5k circular route along the river and up over Winter Hill to take in the views — perfect for chatting, meeting new people, and bringing along your four-legged friends. Afterwards, we’ll gather at a cosy local pub for a Christmas-themed roast — think crackling fires, hearty plates, and plenty of cheer.

Dig out your Christmas jumpers or Santa hats (don’t worry not a mandatory requirement) and join us for a feel-good Sunday of fresh air, good company, and a little festive fun to start December!

There are options to Ramble & Roast or Ramble or Roast only! Walk will commence at midday, Lunch at 2.30pm.

It is also the Cookham Christmas Fayre – the high street is closed and the streets have stalls, there is entertainment, and mulled wine and it’s generally lovely to have a wander. At 4.30 Britains Got Talent Finalists, Northants Sings Out Choir will be performing outside The Crown Pub – they are fantastic.
