Join us for what promises to be beautiful walk Sunday with the added bonus of a little vineyard stop (wine sampling optional).
We’ll be exploring the stunning Hambleden Valley, wandering through ancient woodland, rolling Chiltern countryside and one of England’s prettiest villages before making a well-deserved stop at the fabulous Chiltern Valley Winery.
This relaxed circular walk is around 5 miles, giving everyone plenty of opportunity to chat, get to know new people and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Halfway round we’ll stop for a glass of English wine, local beer or a soft drink (completely optional!) at Chiltern Valley Winery & Brewery at Old Luxters Vineyard where you can soak up the views across the vineyard.
After the walk, anyone who fancies extending the afternoon is welcome to join us back in Hambleden for a drink or bite to eat.
Walk details
– Approx 5 miles
– Moderate walk with a couple of gentle hills
– Allow around 2½–3 hours including our vineyard stop
– Vineyard drinks stop (pay for your own refreshments)
– Dogs welcome if they are happy walking with a group and kept under close control where livestock may be present.
As always, whether you’ve been to lots of Date in the Diary events or this is your very first one, you’ll receive a warm welcome. Sunday walks are one of the easiest ways to meet new people, enjoy great conversation and discover somewhere beautiful together.
