Fancy something a little different?

Join us for a relaxed Sunday afternoon/eve adventure as we meet in groups to walk, Paddleboard or Bike
to The Lockdown Lodge — one of Henley’s best-kept summer secrets. Set beside Hambleden Lock, Lockdown Lodge is a unique pop-up café, bar and street food spot that only appears for a few weeks each summer before disappearing again. And this Sunday, there is live music from 7.30pm from our fab friends at JBM Active! Think riverside drinks, relaxed summer vibes, great food, a buzzing live music and one of those places that feels like you’ve discovered something special. Access is only by foot, bike or boat, which makes the journey part of the fun.

There are 2 options for our walkers: 4pm meet at Henley Bridge and take a beautiful riverside walk (around 45 minutes) or 4.30pm meet at Mill End Car Park for a quicker stroll of about 10/15mins. Feeling more adventurous? You can also join a group coming by paddleboard or others cycling!

Once we arrive and congregate as a group, we’ll grab a drink  and if you fancy it, an optional bite to eat from the street food menu (no reservation — we’ll just rock up and order at the bar and find a spot together). Live music starts at 7.30pm.

After we’ve soaked up the sunshine and enjoyed Lockdown Lodge, you can either:

• walk back to Henley (another lovely 45-minute riverside stroll), or walk onto Mill End and grab an uber back to Henley or onwards. Or jump back on your bike or board.

A chance to get outside, have a bit of a Sunday adventure, meet other members, enjoy a bit of fun in the sun and visit somewhere that’s only around for six weeks each year. Book yourself on to join us but message Lisa to make sure you are added to the WhatsApp group!
