Fancy something a little different?

Join us for a relaxed Sunday afternoon adventure as we meet at Henley Bridge and take a beautiful riverside walk (around 45 minutes) to The Lockdown Lodge — one of Henley’s best-kept summer secrets.

Set beside Hambleden Lock, Lockdown Lodge is a unique pop-up café, bar and street food spot that only appears for a few weeks each summer before disappearing again. Think riverside drinks, relaxed summer vibes, great food and one of those places that feels like you’ve discovered something special. Access is only by foot, bike or boat, which makes the journey part of the fun.

Once we arrive, we’ll grab a drink  and if you fancy it, an optional bite to eat from the street food menu (no reservation — we’ll just rock up and order at the bar and find a spot together).

Feeling more adventurous? You can also join by paddleboard from Hambleden instead of walking — just let us know after booking if you’d like to do that.

After we’ve soaked up the sunshine and enjoyed Lockdown Lodge, you can either:

• walk back to Henley (another lovely 45-minute riverside stroll), or

• if there’s enough interest and subject to numbers, we’ll see if we can organise a water taxi back.

A chance to get outside, meet great people, enjoy a bit of fun in the sun and visit somewhere that’s only around for six weeks each year. Book yourself on to join us.
