Walks
Friday: Chipping Norton
For those that can get time off work there will be an afternoon walk from Chipping Norton starting at noon to the Rollright stones. The Rollright Stones is an ancient site located on the Oxfordshire & Warwickshire border in England. The complex consists of three main elements, The King’s Men stone circle, the King Stone, and the Whispering Knights.
8 miles: approx 4 hours
Saturday: Cold Aston, Notgrove and Turkdean
This walk is in typical wold country, through a landscape of rolling uplands and sweeping valleys, with expansive, open and impressive views all the way. It is an easy walk, mostly on good clear tracks, and all the climbs are gradual. The route passes through three quiet, remote and most attractive villages, all with three interesting medieval churches.
7 miles: approx 3.5 hours
Sunday: Bledington, Westcote and Icomb
This walk, in the gentle terrain of the Evenlode valley near the Gloucestshire-Oxfordshire border, explores some of the quieter, smaller, more tucked away and less well known villages of the Cotswolds. There are broad and extensive views over the surrounding countryside and three churches to visit. The walking is easy with few gradients.

In an area of natural beauty, the Crown and Cushion is a relaxing home away from home. Originally a 15th century coaching inn, it is now a fabulous 40 bedroom hotel right in the heart of the cotswolds.
