We don’t think technology should choose you a potential match, or that you should waste your time and money going on an uneasy date with someone you only know from a photo. We strongly believe, you can be happy being single with a big support network of single friends around you! So we connect like-minded single people organically by providing a friendly, fun and relaxed environment that allows you to slowly gain acquaintances, friends and maybe even a romantic partner over shared experiences.
Nope, we’re a members social group for singles. We are all about connecting people that have gone through a divorce or break up or, may be widowed or even just single for a while. We provide social events and experiences that bring people in the same situation together. What better way to connect than experiencing something you love? So many incredible friendships have been formed BUT also a lot of dating goes on post events from people that have met through our club well. We hope you’ll meet someone you might like to go on a date with, but if not, you’ll definitely meet new friends and networks – and, most importantly, enjoy single life and have some fun. There are no algorithms or profile pics; just real people to talk to.
A little bit! We aren’t right for everyone but equally we are an open and inclusive organisation. 90% of our members are recommendations from existing members (we encourage all members to network their own social groups for more ‘like minded’ singles) which is working really well! It keeps the right people coming through the door! But as long as you are single, divorced or separated for a start, then chat with us and we can discuss everything with you.
In order to keep our group exclusive and make sure you meet people like you – we charge a joining fee, which gives you access to our diary of events. You then just pay for the events you’d like to come to. Just register, and one of our team will call you and they’ll chat you through everything. By registering, you are not joining, just expressing an interest, post chat, if you want to join, we will send you joining information. Joining fees start at £50 but can vary on area so speak to your consultant about prices on your area when they call you.
The cost varies depending on the event: the monthly socials are around £15-25; activities from £30-£100: Sometimes things are more, if you look at our diary page, all our current live events are displayed on there with the associated cost.
You need to be a member in order to be able to book onto one of our events. So just fill in the JOIN US form and one of our team will contact you to arrange a quick call with you, just a quick 10min chat. They’ll tell you all about Date in the Diary, the memberships we offer, what events have availability and any coming up that they think you’d enjoy. Of course, we will also answer any questions you may have. Once you decide if you want to join and which membership is right for you, we will send you a click to sign up as a member and pay the joining fee. Once you’re a member, we’ll be in touch regularly with lots of varied and exciting events but also keep an eye on social media and our DIARY. You can just login to the website and book onto as many events as you want.
I’m sorry but we are unable to allow this. If you have a friend who is interested in joining, that is great, ask them to register , put your name as their referral and we will be happy to call them. If they join as a member, they are welcome to join you at the event.
That’s our aim! But the reality of the situation is we do have a higher proportion of female members BUT we keep our events smaller in numbers to always try and balance the ratio as much as we can.
Our members are aged between 35-60 years old. We try and split the age groups 30-45 and 45+. But do sometimes mix the age groups, it depends on the level of interest for our events.
You can put your membership on hold – or leave us completely and we’ll remove your details from our database. If you end up single again, just get in touch and we can activate your membership if it went on hold or rejoin if you asked us to delete you.
